Today at a court-ordered auction of the assets of Brennan's on Royal Street, Ralph Brennan and his partners purchased the trademarked name "Brennan's," the rooster logo, and all the other items of personality of the restaurant. This leaves the way clear for the restaurant to reopen in September under its famous name at the memorable location. It's the first time since 1973 that all the Brennan family restaurants in New Orleans are associated.
