A Little Easter Turkey

This beautiful Turkish pide at Tavi in downtown Covington is another great dish to have for your Lenten deprivation. An unusual flatbread, it is generously covered with creamy sauce and plenty of crawfish with the same really flavorful blend of spices that make it irresistible. We first discovered this wonderful dish years ago when Tavi was fairly new. Without creamy crawfish the flatbread is still outstanding. Basic cheese and herbs in a rustic bread like a pizza crust Dense and chewy. Lent is a great excuse to try one of these.
