It’s Good Friday. It’s New Orleans. Get ready for seafood, seafood, seafood. You can drive through for fish frys,  you can drive through for crawfish boils. You can drive through for Easter Sunday dinner. If you want to support a cause, it’s there. If you just want to eat your favorites, they’re there. It may take you the day to get through this list. Enjoy. I know we will!


Crawfish Boil with a Cause

Crawfish Boils for the Sake of Crawfish


Junior’s on Harrison has their weekly drive-thru crawfish again today. Order this morning as sell-out is expected.


Lula Restaurant and Distillery is offering boiled crawfish as an add-on to their “Good Friday Feast” - Fried Fish, Crawfish Mac-n-Cheese, Garlic Bread, and Salad. $40 for 4 people. Boiled crawfish are an additional $6/lb.


Ye Olde College Inn has its drive-thru crawfish set up again this week, from 1PM until sold out. $4.50/lb cash or $5/lb with a credit card. $1 domestic beers and $2 premium beers.


Andrea’s is doing a curbside crawfish boil today in addition to a Lenten Fish Fry. Call 504-834-8583 to order.


Sun Ray Grill is boiling crawfish and crabs today with all the fixins. Call 504-391-0053 to order.


Johnny Sanchez is back for another Friday crawfish boil today from 2PM-9PM. $25/5lbs including tax and fixins, and $1 domestic beers will be available. Call to reserve.


Iacovone Kitchen is selling curbside boiled crawfish today for $5.25/lb beginning at 2PM. They sold out last week, so call 504-533-9742.


Sammy’s Food Service is boiling crawfish today only. Call 504-947-0675 ahead to reserve.


Dixie Beer has coordinated with the Nola Crawfish King for Crawfish and Beer-to-go at Dixie Brewery. 11AM-2PM for crawfish, and 11AM-4PM for beer. Call 504-259-0828 to preorder.


Boucherie is selling boiled crawfish today and tomorrow for $4/lb. Served from 2PM-5PM along with daiquiris, beer, and wine. To preorder, call 504-862-5514.


Tracey’s Irish Pub is opening up today to sell crawfish and jambalaya for pick-up at 1,2, or 3PM. Preorder required between 10AM-2PM via 504-899-2054. *2lbs of crawfish and Miller beers will be given for free to impacted service industry members*


Ray’s on the Avenue will be boiling crawfish today through Sunday. Preorder is required 24 hours in advance so it’s too late for today, but you can still order some Holy Weekend crawfish! Email raysontheave@gmail.com to order.

The Fish Fry Roundup


Francesca’s is offering their Catfish Plate special today, as well as seafood platters, gumbo, and crawfish and corn chowder. Call 504-266-2511 to order.


Brown Butter is back this week with their Catfish Feast - thin fried catfish, hand-cut fries, Fresno chili hushpuppies, smashed minty pea salad with olive oil and lemon, pecan cane slaw, crab boil tartar sauce with pickled corn, house-made pickled vegetables, house-made curry ketchup. Available in single portions or family style. 


Coppervine Wine Pub is back this week with their Friday special, available at a discount when ordered online with code CVEAT20. Fried fish, shrimp, oyster, or combination platters will be available  and all served with fries, coleslaw, and Texas toast.


Costera has recently reopened for dinner on Friday’s and Saturday’s, and among their offerings is a Beer-battered Catfish Sandwich served with slaw, pickled peppers, and chips. Order ahead via info@costerarestaurant.com.


McClure’s is doing a curbside fish fry and crawfish boil through Deswine Intervention. All proceeds will go towards feeding frontline medical workers. Preorder only for pickup at Nola Brewing Co.

YaYa’s Comfort Food is serving up fried catfish plates today over white beans and rice, among other seafood specials. Call 504-575-3434 to order.

 

Patois is back this week with their Fried Catfish Plate, served with potato salad, and sweet peas for $15. Preorder beginning at 1PM.

 

Zea is once again offering their Wild-caught Des Allemands Catfish and crispy fried shrimp platters. Curbside pickup and delivery available from 11AM-8PM.


Oxlot 9 is offering their Cornmeal Fried Catfish Plate again today, as well as Smoked Redfish Dip and a Blackened Puppy Drum Sandwich. Call 985-400-5663 to order.


Galatoire’s is offering their version of a Fish Fry - Fried Trout Meuniere with Summer Squash for $15 and will support the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation. Pints of cold seafood grab-and-go options will also be available.
