Heirloom Tomato Salad With Fresh Mozzarella @ Cafe Hope
Cafe Hope is an institution of learning for young people with family and other personal problems. Its focus is to send its graduates into the world equipped with all the skills they need to have a career in the hospitality industry. Every weekday at lunch, the students--under the eye of the professional staff--serves food that's almost too good. (It is definitely too inexpensive.) A regular items is this salad of greens with unusual varieties of tomatoes and balls of mozzarella which I think may be made in house. Balsamic vinaigrette finishes it off.
