Stuck At Home. Red Bean And Chicken Buffet.
A talk show crew still in town after the Super Bowl needed to mount its program today, and we let them use my studio. My own show would originate from home, which I usually do on Mondays anyway.
That gave enough time for the two Marys and me to head out for lunch. Even though we were only just at the Camellia Café, it's so close to home and so good that we went again. Besides, Mary Ann likes the fried chicken on the buffet, from which she collected her pile of the usual secondary pieces she prefers. For me, just one chicken wing and a small pile of red beans. This meal has been amply reported in this space before. But is that reason enough just to skip it? Or am I being compulsive?
