Avo Taco pops up at the Port Orleans Brewing Company kitchen this weekend for three days only. It’s a party to benefit the LASPCA. The Miami and New York -based gourmet taqueria will bring its tacos, specialty guacamole and its famous street corn in to pair with the Port Orleans Mexican-style Lager “Dorada”, and two new specialty beers unveiled for the occasion. A variety of nearly a dozen tacos will be available for $4, as well as some local twists on the Avo menu prepared for this event, like shrimp remoulade and corn salsa.
At 1pm Saturday The Soul Project Nola will drop in to jazz up the party with their unique sound blending funk, jazz, soul, blues and gospel.
