This restaurant looks like something out of the old Pontchartrain Beach, but look past its flashy name and logo and you find a modern version of the neighborhood cafe, with a minimum of the local style in it. In reality, it's the repackaging of Gott Gourmet, with its first-class sandwiches, salads, and platter. For its Restaurant Week offering, the place has packaged three courses from the top end of its menu, and attached a $25 price tag to it. That would be the lowest price we've seen for a summer special this year. To wit:
-House Salad
Sous Vide Filet Mignon or Pork Chop
Tomato- cojita bruschetta, served over hash of sweet potato, Nueske's bacon, oven roasted brussel sprouts and mushrooms with garlic, parmesan, and truffled panko bread crumbs
Daily Dessert
A list of all the restaurants taking part in Restaurant Week, with links to their menus, is here. You have until the end of this week.
