Filet Mignon Stanley @ Brennan's

This is the best steak 'n' banana dish you will ever eat. Unlikely as it sounds, it was long a major specialty at the old Brennan’s, and made the cut when Ralph Brennan took over last November. The filet is seared nicely, then napped with two sauces: a demi-glace with red wine and mushrooms, then a creamy horseradish sauce. It's finished with two baked banana halves. Odd but spectacular.
