EatingNowSquare-150x150 [title type="h3"]Steak Night At MeMe's[/title] The best restaurant in the history of St. Bernard Parish, MeMe's on Judge Perez Drive started an every-Thursday steak night last summer that fills the house. The choices are an eight-ounce filet mignon or a 16-ounce T-bone for $23, or a ribeye for $25. The plate is further filled out with Chef Lincoln's superb sauteed potatoes. MeMes-FiletWineSauce Long as I'm here, I may as well tell you about the lobster special on Friday: pound and a half Maine lobster with garlic mashed potatoes for $25. Another option, same night: seared scallops and stone-ground grits, tomato bordelaise and eggplant for the same price. One more: grilled oysters (they have four ways of doing this) for a buck each Tuesday and Wednesday. Now all you have to do is find the cross street (Trio, which is not well signed). You're better off looking for the MeMe's white-on-black sign.
