EatingNowSquare-150x150 Funny. Just a couple of days ago I reported on a wine tasting at the Windsor Court, held by a group of winelovers who I know from a series of wine tastings many years ago. And now in the mail I hear about a similar series hosted by the sommelier of the Windsor Court Grill Room, John Mitchell. The first of these is Tuesday, November 4 at 7 p.m. The subject will be the major producers of wine in California, as well as some of the less well known wineries. The price is $40, plus tax and tip. After you finish the tasting, you will find a strong urge from within you to stay put and have dinner in the Grill Room, but that's up to you. Reservations are required: 504-522-1994. The next seminar in the series is about Champagne, scheduled for December 9. Perfect timing for the holidays!
