REVISE!!! A Mexican restaurant with touches of California and Cuba, this place used to be hip and kicky, but now seems to be pulling back into its tortilla shell. The cooking is mostly familiar, but includes more than a few unique specialties--many with the taste of the Caribbean. Some dishes are surprisingly rich and complex. The record of consistency is not what it once was, and the service can be amateurish, but I still usually have a good meal here. The dining room recently was refurbished into a much brighter, more comfortable space than it was.
