I live in Jayess, MS but I have a New Orleans restaurant near me in Foxworth MS. I thought about your column when I ate there this weekend, it is *Aymars*, 362 Shiloh Firetower Rd, Foxworth, MS. Tel: 601-731-9966, as in Aymar Dore formerly of Brennan's and Commanders Palace. He has a small place by his house that he turns out food worthy of the best in NO. His crayfish pie is a top appetizer, but I had the crab cake Sat. it was very good, the Trout Amy (lightly pan fried trout topped with crab meat and shrimp with a light sauce) was excellent as usual, finished off with a bread pudding that was worthy of at least four stars.
